San Antonio, TX
SAT Terminal Expansion
The new 900,000 SF, 17-gate terminal at San Antonio International Airport will connect Terminals A and B, expand capacity, and create a unified, modern passenger experience. Designed by Corgan and Lake|Flato, the terminal reflects San Antonio's regional identity and supports long-term growth. Opening 2028.
Austin, TX
AUS Concourse B and Tunnel
Concourse B is a new 26-gate midfield concourse designed to meet Austin's long-term passenger demand and support continued operations during major terminal expansion. The facility will include all passenger and tenant spaces, boarding bridges, baggage handling expansion, apron support areas, back-of-house functions, and an in-pavement hydrant fueling system. Southwest Airlines will anchor the concourse with 18 gates, joined by United Airlines with 5 gates and 3 domestic common-use gates.
San Antonio, TX — CNG Led
SAT Commercial Federal Inspection Station Expansion
A two-phase renovation modernized the 1983 Federal Inspection Station at San Antonio International Airport, adding a 10,000 SF expansion and 25,000 SF interior upgrades. Improvements include updated finishes, a new baggage handling system, escalator enhancements, and HVAC upgrades, all completed while maintaining full operational security. CNG Engineering served as Prime Consultant and MEP Engineer of Record on this project.

San Antonio International Airport
CNG Engineering has maintained a continuous MEP presence at San Antonio International Airport since 2006 — across every major terminal program, capital project, and on-call contract the airport has issued. These contracts are typically held by large civil or general engineering firms, some with their own MEP divisions. Since 2013, CNG has been selected as the MEP subconsultant of record on all five active GEC On-Call IDIQ contracts, consistently chosen over firms with in-house MEP capabilities. That track record reflects the airport's confidence in CNG's deep familiarity with SAT's infrastructure, systems, and operational requirements.

Austin Convention Center Redevelopment
The City of Austin is advancing a transformative redevelopment of its flagship convention facility—an effort designed to meet rising demand for large‑scale events and reinforce Austin's position as a premier national destination. The project will nearly double rentable area from roughly 370,000 SF to 620,000 SF, supported by an additional 70,000 SF of outdoor event space integrated into the Palm District.

Alamodome — 2018 & 2025 Final Four Renovations
Originally constructed in 1993, the Alamodome remains a central venue in San Antonio's sports and entertainment landscape. To maintain competitiveness for national events, the City initiated a comprehensive facility analysis in 2012, setting the foundation for phased upgrades ahead of the 2018 NCAA Men's Final Four and the city's tricentennial celebration.

AT&T Center Renovation (Charter Level)
Built in 2003, the Bexar County‑owned AT&T Center underwent targeted upgrades to elevate the fan experience and align the arena with modern venue standards. In collaboration with a national design partner, CNG Engineering provided MEP services for the renovation and expansion of the Charter Level—one of the arena's most premium hospitality environments.
