Aviation & Municipal

Aviation & Municipal Projects — CNG Engineering, PLLC

CNG Engineering has built a distinguished reputation across Texas's most complex public-sector projects — from billion-dollar airport terminal expansions to civic parks, courthouses, libraries, and public safety facilities. Our aviation and municipal portfolios represent over three decades of public-sector MEP work across Texas.

Aviation is a core strength of CNG Engineering. Our team has contributed MEP engineering to some of the most significant airport infrastructure projects in Texas — including major terminal expansions, concourse additions, cargo facilities, and ground transportation centers at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and San Antonio International Airport, representing over $4 billion in construction value across 12 projects. We understand the unique demands of airside and landside environments: 24/7 operations, phased construction in active facilities, FAA compliance, and the coordination complexity of large multi-prime delivery programs. That depth is anchored by two long-term airport partnerships — detailed below.

MEP Subconsultant of Record

CNG Engineering has maintained a continuous MEP presence at San Antonio International Airport since 2006 — across every major terminal program, capital project, and on-call contract the airport has issued. These contracts are typically held by large civil or general engineering firms, some with their own MEP divisions. Since 2013, CNG has been selected as the MEP subconsultant of record on all five active GEC On-Call IDIQ contracts, consistently chosen over firms with in-house MEP capabilities. That track record reflects the airport's confidence in CNG's deep familiarity with SAT's infrastructure, systems, and operational requirements.
